The Absoluetely Diary of a Part-Time Indian

"We Indians have LOST EVERYTHING. We lost are native land, we lost are language. we lost our songs and dances. We lost each other. We only know how to lost be lost."Sherman Alexie pg.173. What do you think about this quote out of this book?

I think that this quote has a lot of meaning to it in the sense of pride. After you've lost everything it's hard to get back up on your feet. It's a really good quote!

You can lose, but you can also gain. Gaining takes time if you believe in youself and have confidence then anything is possible. Land is not one's to keep or belong to, language and always be pass on, and songs can always be create.

i think this quote is a rhetorical question but as an indian it just takes time to get your pride and get back on both of your feet

You have two really good posts but are short by 1/3. The things you've said are quality, but make sure that you edit things before you post.
